Our Vision

Imagine a world in which new connections between good people can be easily created, or at least much faster than what we’re used to, than what has become “acceptable”. Imagine a world where what one person has soon becomes the welfare of another person. A world in which new friendships are easily created ‘along the way’. Imagine a world with less cars in the streets, less traffic jams, less air pollution, less waste of petrol and less parking problems. Imagine a world in which for all of these things to happen, all we have to do is lift one finger.

What We Do

“Hitchhiker friendly” has set a goal of encouraging the culture of hitchhiking worldwide, and making it more acceptable. There’s no shame in hitchhiking, on the contrary! By placing a sticker on the back of the car we can prove that there are more and more people among us, which don’t want to spend their lives in a tin box or behind a pane of glass. People that want to live life, rather than have it “pass on by”, people who are still willing to lovingly accept new and extraordinary encounters.

That’s what we’re here for.

Who are we?

Chen Raz established The Roadfairy idea after his first hitchhikingf experience. he hitchhike in one day from France through Italy ank Slovenia till Kroatia. Met interesting people on the way that became his best friends till these days. The next 3 days of hitchhiking were less lucky to him passing less then 50 Km a day, But having his first successful experience made him belive it is not only possible, it works like a magic!

Together with Gal Attar they built an idea of penetrating the concept of hitchhiking into society on all its spectrum. working paralely on both sides: incorage more people to hitchhike and to take hitchhikers on their way when they use their car.

A chance encounter with Daniel Karni, a music genious full of ambition, pushed this idea in fast forward and made it alive and kikking.
